⚠️ Before You Start
- Read all instructions completely before starting.
- This installation applies to both CRF450R/RX and CRF250R/RX models using the same muffler design.
- You will reuse the stock end cap O-ring on the new spark arrestor base.
- If you are not comfortable modifying exhaust components, have installation performed by a qualified technician.

- 2 M5x16 Socket Head Bolts
- 1 M5x30 Socket Head Bolt
- 8 Self-Tapping Screws
🛠️ Tools Required
- Drill
- 13/64" drill bit
- Flat screwdriver
- Hammer
- Allen wrenches
- High-temp silicone sealant
🔧 Step-by-Step Installation
Step 1: Remove the Stock End Cap
Remove the bolts securing the stock end cap and pull it from the muffler. If needed, apply heat to loosen the seal.
Step 2: Transfer the O-Ring
Remove the O-ring from the stock end cap and install it onto the new spark arrestor base.
Step 3: Apply High-Temp Silicone
Apply a small amount of high-temp RTV silicone to the stepped portion of the new base.
Step 4: Install the Spark Arrestor Base
Insert the base into the muffler and push it firmly into place. Ensure the O-ring seats correctly.
Step 5: Drill and Secure
Drill each mounting hole and install self-tapping screws one at a time. Keep pressure on the base to ensure a tight fit.
Step 6: Clean Excess Sealant
Wipe away any excess silicone.
Step 7: Install Screen and Nozzle
Insert the spark arrestor screen and install the nozzle. Use the longer M5 bolt in the bottom hole.
