The CRF150F earned its following as an approachable midsize trail bike with manageable power, a low seat and straightforward maintenance. It is also old enough that establishing a good service baseline can matter more than adding performance parts.
The 2003–2005 bike uses a 156.8cc engine and kick starter. Honda redesigned it for 2006–2017 with a 149cc engine and electric starting, then revised the bodywork for 2008. Tires, gearing and many chassis parts span the full run, but engine, electrical, skid-plate, exhaust and body components often do not.
This guide is for the USA-spec Honda CRF150F 2003–2017. It is not the CRF150R/RB motocross bike or the overseas CRF150L dual-sport. Products marked 2003–2005, 2006–2017 or another narrower range should only be ordered for those listed years.
