The CRF250R is Honda's liquid-cooled 250-class motocross four-stroke. Its name has stayed familiar, but its engine, fueling, starting system, suspension and chassis have changed substantially since 2004. A part that fits one generation can be completely wrong for another.
2027 fitment is included: CRF's Only has confirmed carryover from the 2026 CRF250R. Match every part to its listed model-year range and the equipment on your motorcycle, especially if a previous owner has changed the engine, forks, wheels or exhaust.
The R is the motocross bike, the RX is the cross-country version and the RWE / HRC Works Edition has its own equipment. The air-cooled CRF250F is a separate trail platform. Shared displacement or similar plastics do not establish compatibility; order by the complete model designation and year.

The current stock chain reference is 114 links with 13/50 gearing. A different sprocket combination can require a different length. Earlier spark plugs and oil capacities also differ, so use the Honda manual for your exact year rather than applying these numbers to every CRF250R.

Honda also calls for oil, oil-filter and fork-oil replacement plus valve inspection after the first break-in ride. Use the 2026 handbook for that year.
