I've had these on for several years now and they've worked great! Still look awesome and are stong enough to last the test of time and crashes.

These radiator guards are awesome! Perfect for my CRF250X, only minor trimming of the radiator shroud was required. Protects the front from rocks and the side from tip-overs.

Very good protection. Much more than the worx braces. I highly recommend them. Warning though: Installation is a bit of a pain and time consuming. What with all the trimming, I'm not looking forward to replacing my scratched up shroud plastics.

excellent fit and protection. these saved my radiator from a hole. they take a good beating and dont restrict airflow. just be careful when using tiedowns that they are not near them, becuase it will cut the tiedown and it will snap.

Good price and they appear to be sturdy enough to absorb some good hits. The instructions have poor pictures but the installation is simple to follow and takes but 20-30 minutes. Flatland Racing sells good products and they stand by there products. I had some frame mounts for a skid plate (awsome skid plate!) which had to be cut so I could work on the bike. Flatland Racing replaced them for free no questions asked!

I've crashed pretty good with these more than once. They only bend back afew times before done. It saved my radiator every time though, Im buying them again just because they're the only guard with the brace for front impacts integrated into the design.

UPDATE - They don't work much better then the instructions. I fell over very easy while not moving....so easy that I only thought just my hand guard touched the ground.....but when I got home I noticed that the guard was bent outward (away from the radiator and toward the front of the bike) and hitting my front fork when I turned. My radiator didn't get damaged, but I find it surprising and I still hope they work if I really crash.

I hope these work better than the installation procedure. The pictures in the instructions were so small they were useless. Having to trim stock plastic and bend tabs to install a radiator guard...good grief. I'm sure there is a better product available.

These things are REALLY NICE! The trimming of the radiator shrouds isn't a big deal at all it only takes a sharp razor. They are really solid and now I don't have to worry about fall overs and having my radiators looking like an accordian. If you wanted to.... you could kick your radiator shroud as hard as you can and I garentee it wouldn't do anything but probably fall over the other way. AMAZING! Highly Reccommended for trail riders!

Very solid, well put together product. Have not needed to use them yet (no falls), but sure they will hold up when asked to. Trimming shroud not a problem, just go slow and easy with the knife.

I agree! The Works Connection braces are nice but only brace. The Devol guards were junk because of their cheesy brace system . (Can't use 'em with the Works braces). The Flatlands are BEEFY! They are what the Devols shoulda been. I trimmed my rad shrouds with a mini circ saw blade on my Dremel. Worked great!

Great Buy!!! Very solid and easy to install. Trim the shrouds a little and bend the bottom srew fitting on the rad inwards a little towards the middle of the bike and your in some serious riding without worry. Yan Ontario, Canada

FOR BEING A NON "OEM" PART, IT WENT TOGETHER VERY WELL. IT SEEMS TO BE VERY RIGGID AND STURDY. IT LOOKS VERY AGGRESIVE ALSO, IN COMPARISON TO THE ORIGINAL PLASTIC LOUVERS. THE LOWER MOUNTING BRACKET NEEDS A SHIM (WHICH IS PROVIDED) AND THE INTERIOR OF THE SHROUD NEEDS TO BE TRIMMED A BIT TO ALLOW THE SHROUD TO LAY FLAT AGAINST THE RADIATOR GUARD. I FOUND THAT JUST SHAVING A BIT OFF THE SHROUD AND ADDING ADDITIONAL SPACING TO THIS LOWER BRACKET I DIDN'T COMPROMISE THE REINFORCING NATURE OF THE PLASTIC SHROUD AND STILL ALLOWED A SMOOTH PROFILE FIT. THUMBS UP!

These are tough and work well providing great protection from both front and side impacts. I needed to trim just a little bit of plastic off the shroud and did this using a razor blade in a pair of vise grips and heated the blade with a torch and it cut like butter. This is the best method to do this for cutting any plastic including grips! I did not like the fact that the guards sat about an inch away from the front of the radiator, and it also eliminated the cooling fins. It is cold here and my bike is still pretty new so temp rise can not be determined yet, but I am a woods rider and plan to get the cooling fan kit in the future anyway. I would buy these guards again.

At 5'4" tall my 06 CRF250X is a little tall. Needless to say I fall over a lot. The first time that I took the bike for a ride I fell about five times. Every time I fell I fell at zero miles an hour and I landed each time on the right side of the bike. Not having any protection for the radiators I really worried about damaging them. Well I do not have to worry any more. The Flatland Radiator Guards are on the bike now and I fell much better. My friends call me "Mr. Goodwrench" and that does not mean that I know anything about wrenching. I am not mechanically inclined and I put those guards on without any problems. I got the guards on and the louvers and got all the bolts in their proper places. All it took was a little time to adjust pieces and time to do some cutting on the plastic stuff. Using a Dremel on the shrouds and tin snips on the louvers produced a great result and shortened the installation time. This is a great product and is excellent protection for those costly radiators.

These guards are awesome. Not sure what others were complaining about in regards to trimming the shrouds or getting the lower bolt in. Trimming took 5 minutes with a sharp razor knife (always cut AWAY from yourself) and the lowest bolt just needs to be correctly lined up to catch the threads in the clipnut. I slightly tweeked the lower mounting tab on my rads to make them line up and they screwed right in. Perfect! Very sturdy. Wish I'd spent the money to get these BEFORE I smashed a radiator. These are a must have item...I'm a believer now ;-)

First ride with these things on saved my left rad. A big stick would have went right through em without these things. These are burly too. I wish I would have had these on from day one!

Easily installed and they don't look out of place on the bike. HINT: You need to bend the bottom tang on the radiator forward slightly so the bolt lines up. Also, if you trim a little off the white fins, you can re-attach them using a few nylon cable-ties.
