Michael, it appears the incorrect bolts were sent in this kit. We have sent you the correct length bolts upon reading his review. The rack is the correct width for ease of installation and when bolted with the correct length bolts fits perfectly.

Poor fitment. The front of the rack is built too wide for the CRF300L. The front hardware bolts are too long and bottom out before tightening. I had to add 8 washers to the frotn two bolts (4 on each side) to make it work. Disappointing for a product at this price point. I made it work...but shouldn't have had to.
