Description

If sprocket, gearing or rear-tire changes have made the factory speedometer or odometer inaccurate on your Honda CRF250L Rally 2017-2020, the 12oClockLabs SpeedoDRD provides a compact electronic way to correct the speed signal. This is the model-specific calibrator for riders who want the stock display to read accurately again without replacing the instrument cluster.

The SpeedoDRD supports fine ratio-based correction and works with MPH or KPH displays. It corrects the signal going forward; it does not rewrite mileage already stored in the odometer.

Key Features

Use it when gearing, sprocket size, rear tire size or another drivetrain change causes the factory speedometer and odometer to read inaccurately.

Does the SpeedoDRD change mileage already stored on the odometer?

No. It corrects the speed signal going forward; it does not rewrite mileage already recorded.

Can it correct MPH or KPH readings?

Yes. The current product information supports calibration for vehicles displaying either MPH or KPH.

I changed the 14/40 sprokets on a 2019 CRF250L to a 13/43 setup which made a substantial change in shown speed. I recorded data using a handheld GPS and the bike's speedometer at 40 and 60 mph. The unit was very easy to install with long-handled, long nose pliers and simple to calibrate using the factory instructions. I was able to tuck the unit under the seat out of harms way. Bottom line...it works PERFECTLY! I have checked it against radar sites, compared it with other bikes and I swear I am no more than +/- 1 mph. I highly recommend this product.
