Description

  • Upgraded Pro Armor hand guards built for strength and durability
  • Comes with durable plastic bumpers to protect the metal hand guard body
  • Comes with durable longer bar end adapters which holds the handlebars tighter
  • Matching design between hand guard body and bar end adapter prevents rotation of hand guards in the event of a fall
  • Can be used with Zeta hand guard mount kits: side, front and swivel type, for durable fitting
  • Available in Titanium and black anodized bar colors - Select Handguard Bar Color option desired before adding to your shopping cart
  • Replacement hand guard bumpers and bar end adapters are available

REQUIRED:

  • Bar mounts are required to install these hadnguards.  If you already have compatible bar mounts select "No Thanks" for the Bar Mount option.  Otherwise, select the bar mount that best meets your needs.  When selecting the Front or Side Mounts make sure you know which will fit your triple clamp before making your selection. NOTE: Front and Side Mounts are not recommended with bar risers as it can create installation issues.
  • Handguard Bar Color - Select black or titanium bar color

OPTIONAL:

  • XC Protector Shields protect against wind, brush and roost and allow for optional integrated turn signal flashers to be installed.
  • Integrated Turn Signal Flashers install and integrate into the XC Protector Shields seemlessly and replace the stock front turn signals - CRF's Only recommends installing an LED Flash Relay to combat turn signal pulsing after switching from halogen to LED turn signals (relay can be found in  related products below)
  • Replacement Bumpers are great to have on hand should you crash and damage the bumpers that come with these handguards.

NOTE: Bar end adapter does not fit steel bars found on some stock CRF models.  If you have steel bars you'll need to purchase the optional Zeta Bar End Adapter.  Some adjustment of the hand guard bar is to be expected. This is especially true when mounting to the triple clamp.

CRF300L Owners: New bars are required to install bar-end type hand guards like these.  When installing new bars you'll need to modify the throttle housing and switch assembly and use rubber strip to tighten both to bars.  Do not purchase these hand guards if you do not have aftermarket bars and or are not willing to do these modifications.

Bar Mount Options

ZE71-1821 (Front Mount) - This particular mount is best suited for motorcycles that have forward facing Top Triple Clamp Pinch bolts (CRF150F/230F CRF250L/300L)

ZE71-1822 (Side Mount) - Uses the top triple clamp pinch bolts to secure handguard, this is only for motorcycles that have side facing triple clamp pinch bolts (CRF250R/X/RX CRF450R/RX/ 1st Gen X)

ZE71-1823 (Side Mount CRF450L/RL) - The same stlye as the side mount, this mount includes the proper length pinch bolts required to specifically fit the CRF450/RL

Worth its weight in gold. Had 2 crashes since I installed these and both times they saved the bike from major damage. Slid out going about 30mph on dirt going down on the right side. Casualty was a bend brake pedal and the slider pad on the right side of the hand guards. 2nd time i went down i went into an unwanted wheelly on the street and came down hard on the left side. Casualties were the left slide pad on the hand guards, moved my triple clamps but didn't bend the handle bar, shift lever and left foot peg destroyed. Pretty sure the damage would have been way worse without these. They provide a nice flat section at your handle bars to catch the bike and slide on, keeping the body of you bike off the ground. They also reinforce your handle bars if you mount them correct. My favorite part is that the slide pads are replaceable and cheap.
