CRF250L'12-20 - CRF's Only Heavy Duty Clutch Kit

I've done EBC clutch kits/ springs on every bike I have owned, they cover practically everything, and are well known as a quality replacement or performance clutch. The CRF250L is the first bike where I decided to replace the clutch long before it was worn, in fact the bike only had 500 miles on it. The factory judder spring and very soft spring rate give a very soft clutch with little lever effort, a weird inconsistent and wide engagement point, and a lot of slip while engaging. I guess the point is to help new riders avoid stalling or jerking the clutch, but it had to go. This kit replaces it, gives a good consistent clutch feel that gives a huge improvement in feel, practically eliminates unwanted slip, is much easier to control, and with very little increase in the lever effort. It's practically a requirement for experienced riders on this bike. The option for an OE case gasket is nice, as it should be replaced with the job, I don't feel there is a need for the much heavier Barnett springs unless the engine is seriously modified with larger displacement. The EBC springs are more than sufficient for my stage 1 bike ridden hard, the discs stack ends up being thinner than stock, possibly from the judder removal, and it took a fair amount of adjustment to set free play properly.

This Clutch kit is great ! I got the CRFs Only Heavy Dury Clutch kit with the EBC springs. I installed it in my 2014 Honda CRF250L and wow what a difference !
