I'm gonna give this 3.2 gallon ims tank a 3 for installation and fit. I put it on a 2014 450r. First off it works fine and I have it on the bike and will keep it. It also looks great on the bike.
The three stars is because everything kind of gets "tweaked" to get it on the bike. The plastics are back on and will work fine but again are tweaked just so slightly. The tank strap holder is a little snug to the tank but shouldn't rub. I had to kind of pound the tank into the frame by hand to get everything lined up as best I could. I could have maybe messed with moving the rubber pieces (they keep the tank from rubbing the frame) around some more, but I was already at it for about three hours and just couldn't see getting things any closer. I just view it as aftermarket stuff isn't always gonna be perfect. Instructions aren't helpful either.
With all of that said I believe the tank will serve me well.
