CRF250L'12-16 - DRC Moto LED Edge 2 Tail Light

This does a great job cleaning up the tail, eliminating the large bulky factory fender. I do like the ability to use the stock turn signals, I think they look good enough, and like the added visibility compared to a single tail light with flasher capability, they bolt right in. It bolted up fairly easily once the stock fender was removed, and would be easy to change back. There is an included cover plate that does shield much of the wiring, but there is an unshielded "pocket" directly behind the light that leaves about an inch of wiring, and the turn signal mounting nuts exposed, if this was covered the light would be perfect. As far as wiring, I did order the OEM connector, didn't use it, would only be useful if wiring in aftermarket turn signals it doesn't include factory turn signal connectors. I used the factory harness, simply cut the factory tail light socket off, soldered in the new tail light wires, and plugged everything else into the stock connectors leaving the OE tag light connector unplugged. The add-on plate bracket does come in handy though, the mount built into the light is too narrow for PA (and most US) tags, it includes nylock nuts, and fits well. I wanted it to pass PA annual inspections, which requires red side and rear reflectors in addition to the light, I cut the side reflector brackets off of the factory part and bolted them behind the new bracket, then used reflective plate bolts at the bottom of the plate, and it is 100% legal.

The MUST HAVE accessory for the 250L. Makes the bike much more streamlined, Can't believe Honda doesn't use these instead of the clunky factory unit. Very easy to install with all the instructions and connectors you could need. I ordered the factory plug in which made it so much easier.

This was an amazing buy for my bike. Looks great and takes away that clunker originally on the tail end. It comes with brackets for my original flashers, and it also has the brackets for any license plate for countries other than the United States. I rate this four stars because U.S. plates are too big for the bracket, making it a little bit of a nuisance to drill holes into the plate. Other than that it makes the bike look great!!

I'm very pleased with the way the edge tail light cleaned up the rear of my bike and the digital flashers and brake light are very bright and visible. The unit is a quick and easy installation. Now I need to add LED flashers up front.

This unit adds a finesse to a great bike - does what is required and keeps back end looking neat. Fitted one to own bike and about to fit another to son's bike

this is the one that fits high and tight. you can use the original turn signals or other ones. works like a standard light ,,, no frills,,, and well made. And the price is right!

This is actually a well made product. Fit was perfect, and it formed to all the contours it needed to. Instructions were good enough to walk you through it you're halfway good with tools. I was very pleased with this product as I was installing. Everything just fit so well, and as I installed the final bottom bracket, I was very happy with how it fit into the bikes natural lines. GREAT fitting and working product..... but.... haha..... Fits USA plates poorly, or not at all I should say. I was just so happy with the install and look until it was time to put the plate on. The license plate is just too wide for the bracket. I ended up having to drill holes into my license plate to make it work. No biggie, but it takes away from the otherwise factory look it has. Would I buy it again, yeah, it is a good product, just doesn't work with USA plates unless you're willing to drill into plate.
