You can service the oil filter without removing the skid plate. We re working with this customer to see if they have it installed correctly and to verify the skid plate is the correct model and without defect.

Excellent quality. However, the fit is less than perfect. The skid plat
has to be removed to change the oil filter-a real bummer.Look closely at the picture, the skid place extends well beyond the frame from the front of the shifter backward.
