Fit the bike correctly - looks and works great. It isn't 'plug & play - as per directions, you need to know how to install - which isn't hard for a qualified mechanic.

Works great and it does fit in the 2019 and up 450x. It's been in my bike for 4 years a couple of the LEDs went out but I think that's from crashes. I'm definitely buying another one

Almost plug and play. Terminal lugs need to be solder to be effective. Make sure to disconnect the battery, so you don't waste a fuse. Snug fit. Beats the Baja look and price. Twice as bright as the stock.

Installed it today. Quick/Easy/works perfectly! Make sure to note that HONDA has the Green as Ground not the black wire. Light fits into stock slot perfectly. It looks 100% stock. Running the wires and hooking it up were a breeze with a little help from a friend that knows Honda electrical. It took more time to take the number plates off and put them back on than to install this. Everything you need is included. Don't forget the hydraulic switch.

Great kit!!!! Just make sure you notch a hole in mounting plate so wires come strait out of the tail light or they will brake internally. Much brighter than stock light. Easy install if you have any wiring knowledge at all. Thanks CRFS only.

This light worked like a charm and for less than $15.00 it really can not be beat. It was easy enough to install. One thing to keep in mind is that you will also need to purchase the right banjo type bolt for your brake resevoir for the brake light to work. One wire to the brake light, one wire to the tail light and one to ground and you are good to go. I joined the two ground leads together and added a little shrink tubing to make it as weather proof as possible and I also did a little silicone caulk around the light on the underside for some weatherproofing as well.

Works great! The red plastic isn't as clear as the stock unit, but the extra four LED's make up for it. Use some good silicone on the back of the light to cover the hole that the wires go into for some better protection from the elements.

For waterproofing follow these directions and you won't have any problems. Do not use wire nut's to connect wires together and do not use wire connectors provided in the kit or any other wire connectors!! Do splice wires together soldering them together, BUT before you solder, go to a Radio Shack or other electrical supply store and buy wire shrink wrapping. Slide enough wire shrink wrapping to provide about about 4 inches of wrapping around each wire that will be soldered. After soldering, slide the shrink wrapping that will place the soldered connection in the center rendering about 2 inches of shrink wrapping on each side of the connection. After you've done all your soldering and have place the shrink wrapping, use a heat gun and heat shrink the wrapping around your solders and wires that are affected. This will shrink tight around the wires and keep out the moisture that would cause your new light to short out! Hope this helps anyone who is thinking about converting your CRF existing light to a sleek brakelight!!!!

The best!!! Anyone who installs this must know that when replacing the existing light that comes with the bike, that Honda uses the Black lead wire as the hot and the Green lead wire as the ground. If installing a pressure switch from CRF'S ONLY follow this guideline. For the pressure switch, connect one wire to the 'Red' wire that is still loose after wiring the tail light, and the other pressure switch wire directly to the Positive terminal on your battery. If you wire the new tail light up with this information you will have no problems. Anyone reviewing previous reviews must have wired the Black wire from the Tail light to the Black wire in Honda's wiring loom. This connected ground from the tail light to the positive (hot) lead from the bike and will render the light not to work. It only makes sense that the black would be ground since that is how things are usually universally wired, but Honda must live by their own rules. Don't be discouraged or misled by other reviews. This system works and is flawless if you follow the directions layed out. I give this a 5 star rating. Excellent job CRF's ONLY. I'll buy from you again!

Well, I want to like this product, however I feel it is not waterproof. It worked for a bit, but now only half of them light up, sometimes they flicker sometimes they dont turn on at all. I would like to see mine replaced, but that is how it goes. If I get a replacement I will attempt to waterproof it first. Installation is not too bad, but will require you to get a multimeter (you should have one anyways!) and figure out which lead is what. They all look the same, and once you get a brake switch in there it will be a little more complex. You will also have to extend some wires probably. (At least I did to have it hooked up to the rear brake caliper)

The red/grey LED cover has a nasty habit of de-bonding from the unit. This has happened to at least three of us and we suspect that it has caused a short in one ICU (probably whilst washing the bike) that results in the back light staying on all the time when the engine is not running. The only fix is a new ICU (expensive) or the installation of a switch! We have all removed these from our bikes!

Works great. Easy install if you know your electrical. All LED's light up on tail light and even brighter when you step on the brake. Brake switch works fine. Could give you more wire to route the switch better.
