*** CRF's Only Response ***
The clam shell BBR packages these in are very brittle and often arrive cracked and in some cases significantly cracked. We tape them to prevent the product from escaping. As for fit, please make sure you have the bolt correctly aligned with the groove and torqued to Honda's spec.

package came all ripped and taped with scotch tape, wasnt a good fit for a crf230f, the fit was loose compared to oem but i had to put teflon tape to stop it from moving.

Not the best fit for a CRF230F. The allen bolt that comes with it is fairly soft. Also when the lever is in the standard position on the counter shaft it's a very tight fit to get an allen wrench or any other tool in to tighten it. If you don't have your tool perfectly straight the bolt head likes to strip out. It would have been a much better installation if the bolt had threaded from the top instead of up from the bottom.
The lever is very light weight, we'll see how it holds up on the trails.
I think I would have been better off going with the steel MSR that's on my other 230F, live and learn.

I thought the product was great, i bought it for my sons crf150f, it looks great and he said it feels great, it fits his boot better then the stock one, and it is very very light, and easy to install.

I do NOT recommend this product at all. My dad got it for his CRF230F and the first ride it bent. I didn't even fall and it bent. I had to stay in first gear all the way home. It has terrible grip when it or your boots get muddy. Not Recommended!
