CRF230F'03-19 - Flatland Racing Skid Plate

The product is made to be strong, but as some of the reviews state, the screw holes dont line up. I will have to "modify" the (looking at the picture) the left hole to fit the screw. This is discouraging because it really covers a lot and could be a great skid dor the price. Id suggest the maker provide more adjusting for the bottom two screws.

2006 crf230f. You can only use 1 of the frame cradle mount bolts without modifying the skidpan. It's well made product, but this is a black mark. I am going to line the underside with some single sided canopy rail tape... and mount only 1 bolt on the bottom, using a nut to fasten it on the backside. I'll need a new bolt, these are too short in the kit. Great build quality of the pan, crazy they couldn't have designed it to allow more adjustment on install. Wouldn't buy again.

I chose this skid plate for my 2009 Honda CRF230F. I was immediately impressed with the build quality, and the fit and finish. Installation took about 5 minutes! Just unbolt the stock plate, and mount this plate with the supplied 3 bolts. The top bolt has a 1mm larger head, and the bottom 2 mounting bolts are designed to be flush mounted so as not to hang up on obstacles. This item is also very light weight and will not add any significant weight to your bike. Mine mounted up perfectly.

did anyone have a 2007 and did you have any trouble fitting it on

Bottom two mounting holes don't line up, modification needed to fit properly. This is so annoying when you pay $80+ for a part, and it doesn't fit. I'm going back to Ricochet for my plates.

LOVE IT. Slammed into many rocks and it's holding up great. I highly recommend it.

I was really impressed with the build on this bash plate. It covers the sides of the lower engine well, and also makes a great attachment point for a brake snake. Bolted right on with out any issues, however my bike is brand new. Welds look great, as does the quaility of the alloy. Bit pricy, but a steal compaired to the hole I punched in the lower case of my old Yamaha.

Installed on a 2003 CRF230. Other than having to straighten my skid plate tabs the unit bolted right up. I liked the quality and the extra coverage. Simple 3 bolt install. Well worth the price.

the quality of the part was pretty good. the problem i had was with fit. there are three mounting holes and only two would line up, so out with the dremel and drill. i would spend more $ for a part that was drilled properly!
