CRF450X'05-17 - IMS 3.2 Gal. Fuel Tank

I read an old review that says some interference with the Unibiker Radiator Guards. I have a 2013 CRF 450x and found no problem at all with the Unibiker product and this tank. I am unsure if I will keep this product. I ride a lot of enduro trails and I think when full it is too much on the top heavy side. However I will be riding in Arizona this winter and I think for the desert riding it will be pretty good. I'll just have to see if the desert riding requires this much fuel. Installation was very easy after I removed the giant spider that made its massive nest in all of my tank while in the warehouse (I guess). Never knew that gasoline does not dissolve spider web silk! Took some rigorous shaking to clean that out.

This tank fits like a glove, easy to install. I have an 05 crf450x and I had to buy the newer shrouds. The UFO shrouds fit but they were tight. I have the unabiker guards (love them by the way!!) and they didn't interfere with my install in any way. If your looking for a great tank, you just found it.

WOW!! This tank is incredible! Way nicer than the Clarke tank, night and day difference. It's sleak design was well thought out and it is difficult to tell that it is 1 gal larger than the stock tank. It installed quickly and easily. The radiator shrouds fit a bit tight and you have to stretch them a bit, but they fit nice. I have aftermarket, larger radiators and the tank fit perfectly without it touching the radiators. It is obvious that the quality of this tank is superior to others out there! I'm thrilled!!

Quick swap, A must for dual sporting, radiator shrouds fit a little snug, cleared devol radiator gaurds with no problem, tank is a little wider than stock but its no big deal. with the natual color I dont have to worry about my fuel level, since I can see it through the tank. Buy it!!!

This was so easy to install. took me about 20 minutes. You have to love the extra miles you can go. stop thinking about getting it just get and you will not be sorry.

Slight interference with Unibiker radiator guards, but a little modification to the guard, and it was fixed. Make sure an blow the tank out. Pushes the front of the seat up a little bit. Good product, with the necessary capacity. Would buy again.

This is a 20 minute install, the directions are adequate and really not even required, a very nice fit. The tank is made of sturdy plastic, I got the white one, with a sen-rough exterior in some non-visible areas, and smooth otherwise. A question a lot of guys will have is how does it fit with radiator guards ? Well, I have Unabikers and had to only loosen not remove the shrouds to get everything to line up, not bad,huh ? Back to fit, the very most rear of the shrouds, where the little hooks attach to the frame don't go as tightly against the frame as they did, but still plenty to get a good hold. The seat attaches without drama. I like this product, my first IMS product, and I first fell in love with it from the pics of a members bike with a white one and thought "hey, that looks BETTER than stock !" Doug

Quick swap and drop. Increase your range by 49%! IMS has a disclaimer of 7% +/- in claimed 3.2 Gal. capacity. Pump read 3.39 Gal. when I filled mine. If your gonna ride in the woods, you better have the fuel to get back to the truck!

Great product!!! Fit perfectly and looks like a factory tank. I would definitely recommend this buying this if your going to re-jet your bike.
