Not all tail tidies for the Honda CRF300L are equal. A big issue most don’t address is the large opening under the rear fender for the stock tag light wiring. The factory fender covers it - most aftermarket kits don’t.
I learned this the hard way. A cheap Amazon tail tidy left that hole open, and after a full day of off-road riding in the rain, mud got inside the bike and caused electrical issues. Took hours to clean and sort out. I went back to the stock fender after that.
This DRC Moto Edge 2 fixes that problem and upgrades the stock incandescent tail light to LED at the same time. It also includes a proper block-off plate for that opening - something even more expensive kits skip.
Tip: run a bead of silicone around the block-off plate when installing for a proper seal.
