CRF450L/RL'19-25 - Power Surge 6X
Description
Dyno and field tested, the Power Surge 6X will allow correction for humidity, temperature, air pressure, along with race fuels and motor modifications. The tuner adjusts in a matter of seconds in 6 zones, including an accelerator pump feature for more throttle snap response. The tuner can add or subtract fuel from the injection system. Conditions like rich or lean running, and stalling from flame-out at low revs can be corrected. The Power Surge 6X stays mounted on the motorcycle.

JD has done a nice job engineering this for the 450L. It boots up in stock mode (2 hours for this rookie to install--grab your Honda manual too) with suggested settings for modified bikes or for one version of off road 'tune'. Beyond that it is crazy simple to change settings all through the rpm range for how you may want it different. About 6 read throughs of the 2 pages of directions and watching a YouTube with Jimmy Lewis of Dirt Bike Test a couple times was all the instruction I have needed. The 450 can be a balky machine at times and I have been able to smooth out throttle response to my way of riding.
