Honda Service Manual

i must not have a reprint then because mine is very clear. good book for me.

I have this service manual for a 2007 CRF450R. It's been my bible for the bike. Pics are in black and white though if you need high resolution pics to figure it out then you may want to consider having a mechanic handle the maintenance. This manual covers everything and breaks nomenclature down to each individual part from the U-ring in the accelerator pump to each gear in the transmission. Again pics are in black and white though they are very clear and defined. I would rate this book as excellent. I also have the Honda "Common Service Manual" which more of a general/universal manual. It is about 200 pages front and back and comes in a loose leaf binder. It has mostly drawings and emphasizes more with literature. This one would not accommodate the typical shade tree mechanic rather one who is more inclined to comprehend theory.

I bought the crf 250x version of this manual and it sucks!! Very disappointed has a nice picture in front but the pics inside are horrible this book is worthless in my opinion !! CRF`s Only Response: This review applies only to the reproduction version of the 250X manual. Currently this is the only manual Honda is delivering as a reproduction. Original manuals do not have reproduction pages/photos. Photos in originals are very crisp and clear.

I bought the CRF450X version and it is horrible. The pictures are crappy copies like you used a copy machine and the pictures are too dark to see. I ended up buying an older version elseware. CRFs Only said it was just the 450X version that was the reproduction.
