Put these on a 2013 CRF250L. Very nice handguards. I had to trim off some of the large tab on the right handguard so that the throttle and front brake cables were not interfering. Make sure you leave the right handguard a little out of the handlebar; when you tighten the bolt it tries to go in and it clamps down on the throttle. Everything is installed just fine though, very sturdy. Good quality metal and plastic.

Yep, they are soft, I too have had to bend and hammer into shape about 5 times in 2.5 years. I still like 'em though. they have nice lines and have saved my levers many times. In a way it is good that they can be bent back into shape with a heavy rock out in the field.

I had these for 3 years on 450x, ride motocross and tracks mainly, has saved my levers MANY a times. My right one finally got bent up in a crash. I use them to pull my bike up and I am buying a new pair.

I have had these for two years, and have come to loath them. I have to take them off once a month to re-hammer them back into a useable shape. Very soft. They also interfere with the front brake line. If you crash, they move and put even more stress on the brake line. Would not buy them again.

I absolutely love these hand guards! I have them on my 2006 CRF250X and 2006 CRF230F, I have bent two of the right ones, but those were from really hard crashes. I have knocked down dead trees as big as 3 inches with these and, thank god I had them. I would recommend them for trail riding. You HAVE to have them. When you drop it, it also saves from breaking levers! I like that is has integrated brake resoivoir guards as well. A+
