Description

This windshield is the answer to your wind deflection needs. Engineered to re-direct wind around the rider while providing instrument console protection. Designed to maximize visibility whether commuting to work or tackling your adventure rallye.

Molded using a durable, lightweight, flexible 1/8" thick polycarbonate thermoplastic - giving the windshield a high impact strength and making it virtually shatter-resistant with a superior light transmission quality (unlike acrylic).

Mounts over the existing fairing for a clean factory look.

  • Fits newer CRF250L models
  • Easy installation and removal

NOTE: Does not include headlight shroud shown.

*** CRF's Only Response *** Customer selected FedEx Ground as their shipping method which FedEx charges brokerage fees. USPS does not require brokerage fees and is what most of our Canadian customers select for their shipping. Canada requires duties and taxes upon delivery. All of these are presented in our Shipping and Returns section and linked at check out. ***WARNING!! **CANADIAN** I am a Canadian customer here. I purchased this windscreen and after duties , exchange rates, shipping, brokerage fees, administrative fees, taxes upon taxes this piece of plastic cost me 255.00 Canadian dollars. Nice windscreen but 250.00 just so your aware.

This was the very first after-market mod i did to my 2015 CRF250L. Maybe, ...one of the best aftermarket investments i have made. i do a lot of street-riding, especially Tennessee backroads. This is GREAT to keep the nuisance bugs off. Good aerodynamics, and does NOT interfere with any functional performance of the bike. 5-stars! Very highly recommended! Easy common-sense installation.

08/10/2019 - After installing the windscreen, I noticed the air is now just hitting me in my neck/chin and face. I did experience some buffeting in head winds on my test ride at 55 to 60mph, but my helmet is a dual sport helmet with a visor and my riding posture is more upright than most. This is a Rallye Windscreen, not a touring windscreen, there is a difference. The owner of BajaWorx will tell you the same thing. Knowing that this is a Rallye Windscreen with reports of buffeting at speed, I tried to mount this Windscreen as high as possible on the visor with-out additional spacers. There are tips all over the internet on how to alleviate some of the buffeting by adding spacers. I used a LED flashlight from behind the visor to illuminate where the visor/headlight mounting screws are located. While my wife held the Windscreen to the visor, I shined the light from behind the visor, then used a fine point sharpie in the holes of the Windscreen to mark where the holes need to be drilled on the visor. This method ensures that you do not drill into the visor/headlight mounting points and lets you mount the Windscreen in the highest possible position.

First the Bad: The lower two mounting bolts line up perfectly with the CRF250L's headlight-to-numberplate mounting tab/bracket point. You have to really be careful where you drill, otherwise the headlight won't bolt back up. The contour and fit isn't perfectly matched to the numberplate, but then again, it is used for several different models so it's somewhat universal. The Good: I'm 5'9" and the height is perfect for me. No longer does the peak on my helmet catch any air. Zero turbulence either. I rode in some 20mph headwinds today and zero issues with buffeting. IMO, the windscreen's performance far outweighs any installation shortcomings, therefore I'd give this a thumbs up!

Love it. Looks great, and very functional. Does not obstruct your view if you're worried about it getting too wet. The wind hits me right in my neck and up, so I get adequate cooling, but my body gets some relief from the wind. Very simple to mount.
