I just installed this after finally pulling my carb and installing a JD jetting kit and AP pump spring and Honda AP pump update kit. When I started the bike I was surprised it was running lean after fattening it up so much with the jetting kit as it was popping through the exhaust, but not to worry. Just reach down and turn the R&D fuel screw while still on the bike and she is running like never before. You can use this baby while your riding to achieve the perfect mixture! Can't see not having this Flex Jet! This makes tuning the carb cake work! Its made me love this carb! I had aftermarket fuel screws when I had a 250R and one fell out during a ride to be lost forever on the trail! Since this is anchored on the side of the Carb and has RIGHT THERE ACCESSIBILITY! It was a no brainer for my 2004 Crf250x. ITS A MUST HAVE!!!

i installed one on my 450r took about 5 minutes and was very easy. i like it alot no more losing the carb and twisting it and hoping i got it right. now i adjust while riding. havent any problems with it knock on wood. i would recomend getting one to anybody very very handy and they r worth every penny

Bummer for Brad, I have had this on my bike for about a year and it works flawlessly.
With that said, this "Flex Jet" actually takes an unusable fuel screw location (CRF 450x) and makes it extremely easy to use. Follow the instructions and make sure it's mounted properly and you can be sure that you will never be able to figure out why you didn't make this the first thing you bolted onto your carb! I'm still wondering!

Love the functionality of this product, do have one issue though. The bracket that screws to the carb. screw and holds the knob in place has broken on my CRF450R and now on my wifes CRF250R. Seems like after time the thin bracket, due to vibration fatigue, just gives out.
