    Changing a rear tire

    by eagerbeaver » Thu Apr 12, 2007 10:06 am

Can someone please assist on the proper way to remove the back wheel so that I can replace the tire and tube. Or tell me where I can go online and be able to print the info. This is for a CRF150F

    Thanks

To take the rear wheel off

    1. Put the bike up on a stand.

    2. Make a note of the exposed threads on the brake rod. Loosen the rear brake nut by the rear axle until it comes off.

    3. Push your brake pedal down and pull the brake rod out. Don't lose the spring.

    4. Loosen then take off the 24mm rear axle nut, washer and chain adjusters. 17mm on the other side of the axle.

    5. Push the rear wheel forward then slide the chain off.

    6. Pull the rear axle out then take the wheel out of the swingarm.
