    Crf300l gearing

Just curious if anyone has done 13/42 on the crf300l and what your max speed is.
    More interested in cruising speed.
Swapped to 13 tooth in front. Would like a little easier lift of front end, but hope to still maintain at least 70 ish mph.

I've got a similar question. Thinking about going to a 42 or even 45 rear sprocket. Wondering if anyone has done this and if so what it did to their top speed and also whether they needed to lengthen the chain .

Correct! You select your CRF model/model year and press Load. It then loads all the transmission and final drive gearing data as well as the stock rear wheel/tire data. All of these parameters can be changed as well as putting in new final drive gearing to compare against. Great tool to help you decide what gearing will be the best for your situation. Glad to hear it helped!
