Lowering Link

I just bought a CRF250L and my girlfriend really wants one too, but she is only 5-03 and she needs it lowered. Anyone know of anyone who makes a lowering link for this bike?
Also, I weigh 220 lbs or so and I would like to beef up the suspension to accomodate my weight - just for road riding and light offroading. Any ideas?

Welcome to CRF's Only and congrats on the new CRF250L. I don't know of one yet but hopefully soon. These are just now becoming available in the US. Where are you located?
Again, welcome.

I live in southern AZ. I picked up the bike today and it's awesome. Not having had a chance to test drive and considering my last dirt bike was a 2007 CRF450X, I was a little worried that I would be disappointed that it would be under-powered. Happily, when I drove it off the lot today I was pleasantly surprised!
This bike has the best transmission of any motorcycle I have ever owned. The fuel injection response is awesome. With the exception of the brakes, which feel a tad under-powered, on the road it doesn't feel a whole lot different from my old 450X. Of course I only have ridden in about 20 miles (all on pavement).
A BIG thumps up! But I still need someone to make a lowering link so my girlfriend can get hers. She's just a tad too short to ride it comfortably, especially off-road.

looking good! let us know how it rides in the dirt. lowering link will be coming soon and brakes are something that should be pretty easy to upgrade.

Brakes get better with a little more ride time. and a lowering kit for this bike is the crf230.

ahh...got it. there are some doing this simple modification to lower the rear seat height:
of course, you'll need to raise the forks in the triple clamp to maintain the correct rake.

A buddy of mine drilled two holes above the factory one on the rear shock's lower mount, and slid the fork tubes up the triples. I thought he was nuts for drilling the shock mount, but it works!
