    Race Tech Shock

    by crfsonly » Thu Jan 24, 2013 4:49 pm

The stock shock is a weak point in the handling of the CRF250L. We have been offering the Race Tech GS-3 custom shock.

Each shock is custom built for the rider's weight, skill level, and riding conditions.Definitely one of the most important modifications for going faster on the road or in the dirt.

So when you buy the Race Tech suspension kit, do you send In your shock and forks? How does it work? I just purchased a 2018 CRF250L and I’m 6’ 230lbs. I plan on riding 80% off road and definitely want to upgrade the suspension.

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

The shock is available here https://www.crfsonly.com/catalog/produc ... ts_id/4895 (its a little spendy) and if you wanted the forks done then , yes , you would send them to Race Tech , you could also purchase the shock directly from them I would guess , this has been available for some time , so there should be no issues .....

When you purchase our Pro Suspension package we'll get your weight, riding skill and type for the shock build. It's very simple to install the shock. The forks are more complex, but anyone with some basic mechanic skills, the service manual, Race Techs instructions and one of the many YouTube videos should have no problems installing the valves and spring kit. You'll not only save $$$ but you'll own your suspension.
