I need the correct clip type master link for the OEM DID MXV 520 chain. I think it’s the VT2 but not sure.

So here’s the reply I received from DID. I think it’s BS:

“Unfortunately, master links for OEM chains are not made for aftermarket
purchase and our master links are not interchangeable between chain models
because of varying spec dimensions, so an aftermarket master link would not
fit. If you have lost or could not save the OEM master link, I'm afraid that
an aftermarket chain will have to be purchased.”

Well all I can say is that I have bought master links for OEM chains for years and years with no problems.
RK, DID are two right off the top of my head that I have purchased to add a clip type master link to a pressed non-master link type chain. I have also bought master links for my street rides that are the press rivet type. I do stick to the brand of link to match the brand of chain & the right size of course.
