quick question guys, recently picked up a 2017 CRF250X and the tyres on it are massively inappropriate for my riding.

has anyone fitted Michelin Starcross Med 110/100-18 to the rear with Bibs?

just looking for confirmation that it wont rub before I order them in!

cheers.

The issue you are going to have is with the size of the tire vs the 250X power output , the heavier tire is going to kill a bit of power , if your willing to live with that then it should be fine , as I am pretty sure the 250 and 450 share the same swingarm , and they do share the same rim size (2.15x18) so it should have the space for the tire , so there should not be a clearance issue , more of a heavier tire vs HP output issue with a 110 as opposed to a 100 , along with the wider traction patch , which means more traction , but at the expense of power due to the larger/wider tire that is going to dig in deeper , and may bog the bike down some , at least in softer terrain like dry sand , etc. ....

ok, thats great cheers. the power isnt a massive thing for me right now tbh, as I'm more just helping my lad out on playdays, and possibly the odd hare & hounds. defo worth the ocnsideration as to the 100/100 for the reason you mention though. so thanks.
