Front Brake Wiring 2006 CRF 250X

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me out on here...

My CRF 250 X appears not to have a front brake pressure switch installed currently to operate the brake light, but I want to put one on.

I have removed the front headlight today to find a green wire and a yellow wire coming from the wiring loom but not connected to anything, and a white wire from the back of the headlight not connected to anything.

Can anybody tell me what these are? Are the green/yellow for a brake light pressure switch to be connected?

Thanks!

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

From what i can see in the Owners Manual (U.S. bikes) wiring diagram , it looks to have a "option" for a front brake light setup , it shows a Black wire , and a Green wire for the front brake light switch , the Green wire ties in at the Headlight wiring , the Black wire goes straight back to the tail light , if that helps any .... ;)
