I have a crf250x 08 aus model and my speedo has changed to mph and I cant figure out how to change it back does anyone know how to use it. On the front it has a joy stick and it says Facomsa on the back. Google knows nothing. I have tried pressing the joy stick in for awhile and pressing it in and moving it but it does not work

A different model says to use as a toggle without pushing as a button. Does it let you move across the different the menus. Has the power been off to the unit?

I've been trying to find the same answer for ages and managed to find a copy of the manual but it was in Portuguese.

Google translate tells me it says this:
Selection of km or miles:
The instrument can be supplied set in km or miles.
The "km / h" or "mph" icon is shown to the right of the speed indicator.
The selection is stored in a permanent memory.
The selection can be modified by the user when the odometer shows "9.99" or less, as follows, from this mileage you can never change.
Keep the joystick up while the instrument is turned on. The display shows "km / h" or "mph".
Move the joystick down to change units.
Move the joystick up to save the selection.

That can't be right otherwise it wouldn't change back to mph by default after power is removed for too long.

Edit: Just had this attachment emailed to me from Facomsa. So far I haven't got it to work though.
