Looking at upgrading the front brake - advice needed

    Hey,

For my next upgrade on my 12 250X, thinking about upgrading the front brake.

Looking at one of the 270 kits sold here, but have no idea if they help much and which ones are good or bad.

Also saw "Honda Improved Front Brake Master Cylinder" http://www.crfsonly.com/catalog/product ... ts_id/4034
Anyone tried this as an upgrade on the X ?

Looking for more stopping power on the way into a corner.,
And on long fast down hills, I over heated and glazed my front brake pads on a trail ride the other week that had lots of long fast down hills, which also had corners at the bottom, just for fun.

Personally I'm surprised oversized brake kits aren't more popular. They not only increase braking power but improve brake modulation and feel. This with a stainless brake line and the improved master cylinder provides much improved braking control. Highly recommend each of these.

    The Braking BatFly is awesome.

a word of caution when fitting a bigger disc and caliper bracket if you have a trailtech speedo, the bracket is further away from the wheel sensor bolt. I had a 270 geico disc on mine and found this out so you have to fabricate something to reposition the pickup closer to the bolt.

Thanks moolooman, didn't think of that.

Have a bit of time to sort out how I'd mount it/fabricate something, NZ dollar is to low right now, need to hold off untill it goes up abit.
