    Modified Jetting

    by oscarbella » Tue Jan 07, 2014 10:56 pm

Updated jetting with the fitment of a 270 big bore kit, interesting to note that the main jet is now 158 vs 165 with the stock cylinder.
Big bore creates more suction so uses smaller jets.:)

I have tried a wide range of jet choices and so far this has been my best setup, good power down low and snap up top, great trail bike. looking to go for a big bore on my next piston, and a crfsonly port job, that should pull a bit more power down low and all around. I like a good bottom pull, and its nice to still have it up top too.

I use 13/51 gearing with Rekluse clutch which in my humble opinion is the most fun giving addon this bike can get. For hillclimbs oriented pilot 12/51 gearing would work a bit better.

I use my bike 80% in the woods: gnarly, tight, technical, hillclimbs.
It starts cold or hot at first 2 sec push button, or first kick and runs really really good, of course with absolutely no bog.
    It's just perfect.
