I'm ready to pull them off. It was nice but I really don't need it. Any tips on pulling all that junk off?

After you pull the seat and side plastics. I would pull the Batt first. If you removing the electrical system I would trace the wires before cutting or pulling to make sure none hook up to and or split on into something your keeping IE: TP sensor, Ignition Control Module etc.
Take Your Time... I have not seen a cover for the starter so before you pull it you may want to look into that. Best of luck Hope it helps
PS wire diagram on page 161 of my 05' helped me out a lot on some of my issues. (and current one as well)

BUT, if you live in Kalifornia, you'll only be able to ride 1/2 year (or have to pay for track time).

Where did you find the Air box? I agree man my bike is almost fully converted and I freaking love it. I use to ride a built up 03 YZ 250 and the CRF is getting close. I have also had the chance to rid the R and my x is almost there for sure.

Good stuff , just keep takin bits off until you are left with this .....
Mines actually an R with an X engine , its slimmer , lighter , has the excellent longer range gearbox and quite exhaust ofthe X , and with carefull carb set-up starts 1st/2nd kick even when i`ve thrown it on the floor .
I have F+R lights too , DHH front and DRC LED rear for night-time riding
