Rekluse

I just bought a Rekluse and had my mechanic install it. I rode it and it stalled often and I am trying to figure out why. The only thing that makes sense is that I applied the rear brake, locking up the rear wheel, which caused the bike to stall because the clutch was still 'in-gear' as a result of those centrifugall balls being in the 'engage gears' (outer/top) position.

The traction was slippery sand on hardpack, so it was easy to apply a little rear brake and have the rear wheel lock up. There was not much traction to keep the rear wheel turning.

Thanks

the clutch needs adjustment. it's not impossible to stall a rekluse bike by stabbing the rear brake but its usually very difficult if it's adjusted correctly.
