    Stock carb needle and jets

    by wezza-mx » Thu Feb 01, 2007 12:03 pm

I have carried out the airbox mod and i am now wondering what jetting to do? i was going to run a 162 main, 42 pilot, which clip position shall i put the stock needle? I would love to get the JD jet kit but being in Cyprus, it's easier to get the individual jets...

If you aren't going with the JD kit, try the following:

    Pilot replace with the 42

    Main Jet # 152 P/N 99101-357-1520
    NCYS needle P/N 16204-MEN-671
Put needle on the 4th Clip.

Open fuel screw up to 2 turns

Hey agent what would be good Jetting with it being all stock except for and E2 exhaust. I have already changed it to a 42 on the pilot and dropped it one on the clip. you know the book says stock clip is 3rd but i could have swore my bike was on 2nd.

Have you opened it up yet? Airbox, backfire screen, Twin Air filter?
