    Dim Headlight

    by PhilM » Fri Jan 19, 2007 4:47 pm

Is yours real dim at idle, like almost brown and then get bright with throttle? Were you able to correct it? If so, how?

    Thanks

No correction available unless you rewire the light to run straight off the battery, with a switch or something.

Easy fix is just to ride fast if you're riding in the dark! :D

Idle should be 1500-1700rpm, this may correct the dimness.

I hated that when I had the stock lighting setup. It runs from the AC side and will dim as the RPM's drop. Now I run it DC off the battery with a Baja Designs HID light.
