I finally found the pink wire. It was where everybody said, it was just tucked way in behind the coupler. Do you have to take off the rear fender to unplug it? Everything is real tight and I see no way to unplug it without taking everything apart. Any easy way?

It is tight but if you take off the side panel and I believe there is a wire holder keeping it in place, there is plenty of room and slack in the wiring harness to pull out the connector and make the swap. If you need more access or need to see better you can take the seat off too.

I took off both since I opened my airbox at the same time, gave me plenty of access. The hard part is getting the pink wire clip out of the coupler. I kept trying to get the green plug out so I could see into the hole better. Unfortunately the green plug is part of the crimp connector. I used an awl and got it to come out without too many foul words. ;)

Yup it takes a little doing to get the wire out without damaging anything. Including you fingers with said awl.
