smog pump block off kit ...how 2

    by crf~rob » Sat Jan 13, 2007 1:09 am

    Hi all,
I cant seem to find the "how to" article on removing the smog pump off of the 250x. I know there was one, but now its gone. I really could use the photos that come with the step by step instructions.

If anyone could forward me the link I would be grateful. It seems pretty basic, but I'm a visual learner and the instructions provided with the White Bros kit are sparse.
    thx

This is for the 450 but they are the same, and this is for Applied not White bros, but they are the same.

    Should get you through it.

Instead of cutting the wire hanger on the smog pump, take a hacksaw or dremel tool and gut the wire hanger away from the metal bracket that holds the wiring harness where it is bolted to the bike. Nice clean look and you can remount the smog pump if it ever becomes necessary with having to rig a new wire hanger for the smog pump.
