    Name that hole

As I was cleaning my bikes yesterday, I began to wonder if this S100 was OK to spray over the entire bike. Does anyone know of any parts that should not be sprayed?

The bigger question is what is this little hole that is on the right side of my engine? It's a tapered hole. When I started the bike, it started to bubble a little, like air was coming out. Although, it could have been getting hot and that is why it bubbled a little. Just curious if anyone has seen this or knows what it is.

I tried to post a pic but it was to big and I have no idea how to reduce the size of pics. If someone could PM me with some instructions or help walk me through the picture thing I would be grateful.

    Tony,

its a drain hole for the spark plug tube. It allows any water that gets into the spark plug access tube to drain and not fill up and cause a short.

I use the s-100 on all parts. Hasn't affected a thing.

Now "Purple Power" is a different story...it attacks aluminum.

Thanks for the info on the hole. Glad to hear it is nothing major.

By the way, that S100 is bomb. The bikes were very dirty and a few sprays, rinse, and dry...they were good.

Thanks for the info on the spark plug drain hole! I thought I forgot to plug a bolt hole up when I took off my smog pump.
