When I put the E2 on (with the arrestor in place) I ran stock jetting. It ran... it was summer... but it had nasty decel popping... a sign of a lean carb.
I rejetted and opened the air box ... and changed over to the Twinair powerflow filter kt all at the same time. Big difference in performance.. ease of starting.. warm up.. the whole deal.
You can certainly stay with stock jetting, but if you're going to do the WB E2, open her up and get the full benefit. It won't make it a fire breathing monster, but it be a big big difference.
In fact.. things were so good after I did all that work...I fully expected the 250X to go to the liquor store for me and pick up a 6 pack of Sam Adams. Regrettable.. I neglected to provide directions.. so I had to go myself.
