So I’m installing a F3 AVS lever set and found out that you can’t use the new supplied perch for the clutch side. There is a switch inside the stock perch that needs to be engaged in order to start the bike. Can this switch be take out or bypassed somehow?

Simply connect the two wires and zip tie them behind the number plate / headlight. Just remember that the starter switch will be live and it will turn over while in gear.

So the switch only allows the bike to be started when in natural right? Got it.

Seams like a bad thing getting rid of it. Have you done this to your X

No. It can start in gear. The switch insures that the clutch is disengaged. You can start it in any gear as long as the lever is pulled.

With the switch bypassed, that safety margin of making sure the clutch is disengaged is now gone. The magic button will now work all the time, not just when the clutch is pulled.
