BRP submount / Trail Tech Computer

Has anyone mounted the billet trail tech protector on a BRP sub mount? I have just added the sub mount and am not sure how to mount my computer. The one method I have heard is to simply mount it between the bar clamps. Will this effect the ability of the clamp to hold the handle bars? I am open to any suggestions!

I've seen where people mount the billet holder with the bar clamps (using the BRP SUB mount). I was going to go that way but ended up mounting the trail tech in the original stock odometer position. I had to modify the mounting block that came from TT and then filled it with epoxy to make a solid block before mounting. Turned out really well. I like it there out of the way.
