Sorry, I thought you were Ken. I ordered a Flak jacket and it was too small for my fat rear!

O.K. Agent and Monkey, I finally got a chance to put in the JD kit...
Although my kit did not come with the 162 main it did have a 165, 42 pilot, 2 turns out on the fuel screw.
As of yet I have'nt had a chance to try it out. I had two pipes burst in the attic of my house last saturday.
So I've been a bit busy!! Maybe tomorrow?

Re the R Exhaust. If you already have the plate you should be okay (passed inspection for the plate, right?). If you add the R exhaust afterward who's gonna know? You may get hammered for excessive exhaust noise (not likely if you are riding it sanely on the street). That would be just a ticket. (fix, pay fine: possibly, put R exhaust back on, ride appropriately). They would not revoke your plate. Legally they could revoke the plate at any time because it fell through the cracks initially; but that is a whole other issue.
Lastly there is the question of whether or not the R exhaust is USFS approved. I don't believe it is a spark arrester unit so you may need to address that issue for off road use.
You may want to modify the stock baffle for better performance but maintain the appearance of OEM equipment (w/ USFS approved markings on the can)
