    Prop 21

    by steakcrf77 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 9:40 am

Let me start off by stating, I am not a political person at all.

I Was just reading about some of the Props that are on the ballot today and have been hearing about Prop 21.

Seems to me that we pay an $18 surcharge on our Vehicle Registration for that or some smaller amount to be put into a TRUST or fund for State Parks and Conservation. In turn it would allow people paying the surcharge to have free parking admittance to these parks.

So who knows if it covers "OUR" state parks like OHV areas?

I really don't mind paying $5 a day for Gorman per driven in vehicle. I would think they could save a bit more money by not having staff clean the bathrooms once a day or more (Perm buildings, with no flush toilets). Or review the trash infrastructure.

Any way, the board seems to have gotten to be quite the political hot spot for members to share there feelings with "Waking up" and taking back America, and I thought this Prop could have a direct impact on our Hobby, Sport, Livelyhood.

Sorry to open the can of worms...
