If we could get rid of Feinstein and Boxer here in Kali it would be awesome. The politicians up for re-election this year (all of the house, 1/3 of the senate) have got to be taking notice since that broad and the dems thought she had that election wrapped up until the last week or so and he beat her solidly.
This Nov is going to be interesting....especially if the dems keep shoving this unwanted heathcare package down Americans throats..
I think its ironic that the death of Ted Kennedy may begin the end of the stranglehold the dems have on the senate and the (lack of) leadership of this country....

Not that much of a victory, though, because Coakley's record as a Nifong-esque prosecutor meant anyone could beat her.

Huge victory though in reality because that liberal state has been a deadlock win for Ted for 50 years and the second he dies they elect a unknown republican....says alot about the mindframe of the dems and independents there......that being said, ANY senator/congressman regardless of his/her perceived stature would now have to think very carefully about their actions with house wide elections, many governor and senator up for re-election. Do they want to be associated with a very unpopular bill that either passes OR fails? Which would be worse...being associated with it passing or FAILING....

They (senate/house) could do more for this country by staying home and doing nothing ! And collect their salaries !

Pelosi just announced the house does not have the votes to pass the senate approved version of the healthcare bill. Its beginning of the end for this debacle I hope.....

What I meant is it's not as much of a rebuke to Obama as people say it is. There were far left blogs saying hold your nose and vote for Brown because of Coakley's record.

Yeah thats what Obama said too, it wasnt a referendum against him, just "angry" people. BS rhetoric like that is exactly WHY it means he knows it WAS a vote against his administration, and his condescending tone reminds me of his middle america "guns and religion" campaign quote......immediately rebuking something either rumored or suggested shows that whether or not he believes it, he's worried about it. And that is the point.....

And heres the quote verbatim:

I hope that they really believe it was the candidates fault...I hope that they don't get it.

If they do get it, then they will make the necessary changes to appease the dissenters and continue to hold power.

What is better evidence? Far-left blogs or scientific polls?

The polls of course, and they suggest that independents made the difference and for them, it was a rebuke on Obama.
