Timber Mtn. HS - April 08

This is some great footage from the recent race on John's Peak (So. Oregon).

(For the record, I'm NOT riding orange ;) ... just borrowed the footage).

JAWS - This is one of the places we want to take you (before fire season).

With any luck, XGiant and I will be rippin' it up there this weekend (but at a much lower speed! )

    Enjoy...

Great video! Looks like a fun place to ride. So do you also play hockey?

My Kids and I all play Tournament Roller Hockey. No Ice here but still a ton of fun. Nation finals near by this year. Of coarse they all have CRF's too! :P

    Good stuff, RocketMan!

I played roller hockey in Central Cali and then up here until we got our ice arena built.

Haven't played roller hockey in years, though.

Hope there's lots of lamp lighting in your future!

BTW - My uncle works in Sonora @ the hospital and lives in Tuolumne.

That looks somewhat Kennedy Meadows minus the rocks, drop-offs, switchbacks and such! :) Great area. I hope I can make it up to try that out.

We'd still love to have you up, Joe... before fire season (late June traditionally but maybe later this year... it's snowed last weekend on the valley floor... the weekend before it was 84! ).

I figured it would get your attention. And, it's only 5 minutes from our house. :D

I'll have some more free time starting June 1st -- Selling one of the businesses. So... Pick a weekend and head up for some riding! You're always welcome at the King B&B and we'll even leave the light on!

    Keeping up with Kendall?

No problem! (I'm going to let the air out of his tires when he's not looking. Shhhhh... don't tell him!) ;)

    I thought of that...

You know... he mentioned that his spokes were all loose and he recently tightened them up. I beg he'd never even suspect they'd get loose again so quickly! ;)
