    question about suspension

    Has anyone ever ran small wheels on the big wheel bike, longer swing arm etc.
    any info will help.

    Haven't personally been involved in running this set up but I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work other than reducing ground clearance.

    Thinking more about spring rate and sag, how much different

    valving and spring rates should be the same. race sag as well.

    Yah, the factory supplied fork/shock springs are a step stiffer on the RB than the R. If they work with big wheels for the rider, they'll work with the small wheels.

    It just lengthens the wheelbase a small amount from the swingarm and changes the gearing. You raise the forks in the tree (lower the front end). Only difference between the R and RB is wheel size, chain/sprockets, rear swingarm, and rear brake line.

    Thanks for the input guys!
    I talked to Factory Connection and they also said same run the spring rates as we do on big wheel and raise the triple clamps to 8mm. Gearing is always a per track basis anyhow.
