    Thoughts on the Boyesen Supercooler

    by oclvtrek » Wed Oct 31, 2012 11:35 am

Has anyone installed a Boyesen Supercooler on the CRF150 and if so what are you thoughts? Was it worth the money?

I haven't encountered an overheating problem but I was wondering if this would be a good bolt on "just in case".

it does reduce engine temps by flowing more coolant resulting in more coolant circulating from the engine to the radiators faster. of course there is still the requirement for air flow to move through the radiators.

My son just won a free one from Boyesen for his 2010 CRF250R and it defiantly is a improvement in temp control but as Ken stated air flow is a must as well...

Understood about the air flow so if airflow is equal (stock water pump versus the Boyesen) is it an improvement?

I'd like to do a hare scramble or two in the spring for fun and I'm wondering if the Supercooler would be a worthwhile addition?
