    Need some suspension work recommendations

    by oclvtrek » Wed Oct 17, 2012 9:37 am

I took the CRF150RB out to a local track day on Sunday and it was bottoming out a lot. My sag is set correctly and the bike feels good trail riding but it wasn't working well on even the small jumps and whoops.

I'm older, 5'5" and 140lbs so I don't know if I'll need to run the heavier fork and shock springs so I'd like some recommendations on who I could have do the work; new springs in necessary and re-valving.

    Who would you all recommend?

If you are a capable garage mechanic you could install the springs yourself and then see how the suspension responds to the correct fork springs. Otherwise, I recommend a local shop. Ask around at the track and get recommendations.

I could replace the spings myself but I think I might need to have them re-valved as well.

Nobody around here does it. All the shops ship them off to Pro Circut or someone else.
