    150RB to 150R

Looking to buy a spare 150R for my son. A friend at the track is selling his son's bone stock 150RB with minimal hours. Can I just put the smaller wheels on it and go without any problems?

I don't think so because the rb has a longer swing arm. But u may be able to switch the swinger out.

Basically all you would need to do the conversion is the smaller wheels front and back and the shorter "R" swingarm. I think your going to have to take a few links out of the chain also.

The brake line on the RB is longer. If you go to an R swingarm you will find the line rubbing/getting pinched in the rear spring. Plan on a new line as well.

Forks are the same, just set at different heights. Rear sprockets are different sizes - Stock RB is 55 (maybe 56?), stock R is 50. You will be geared way low if you don't change them when going to the smaller wheels. Chain will need to be shortened as mentioned.

Thanks everyone. Also found a clean 2008 small wheel so will probably get that one instead and save the extra work!
