Getting 150rb ready to ride trails

    by Casey303 » Sun Feb 26, 2012 12:59 pm

I just bought a 09' CRF150RB and was wondering what everyone recommends to make it more suited for trail riding. I already got it jetted for altitude and I got a spark arrestor. I will be getting hand guards and a skid plate.

the skid plate and handguards are a good start. a rekluse clutch or added flywheel weight will help keep it from stalling in trail trash. a Scotts stabilizer will help with steering control and rider fatigue. a lager capacity IMS tank will get you more miles on the trail.

I was looking at the flywheel weight. Is that hard to install?

No, just a big bang when the puller breaks the stock flywheel off the crank. Big enough to make you mess yourself if you have never had the experience.
